[BREAKING] Super Junior's Kangin under investigation for DUI accident

Super Junior's Kangin is currently under investigation due to a car accident allegedly caused while he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Kangin is accused of drinking and driving his Mercedes-Benz vehicle into a streetlamp and fleeing the scene. On May 24, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station stated he's under investigation after colliding with a lamp post in front of a Gangnam convenience store earlier in the day at 2AM KST.

The store owner is said to have called the police to report a downed streetlamp, and after interviewing witnesses, the police reportedly found the Super Junior member was responsible. Reports also say Kangin parked his car in front of the convenience store for 2 hours before driving, which is when the accident occurred and he fled the scene. 

Kangin is reported to have expressed to the police that he remembered hitting something with his car, but he had no idea it was a streetlamp. Police have stated they're currently looking into Kangin's blood alcohol content as well as whether he did actually flee the scene.
