JTBC’s new weekend drama 'A Hundred Memories' is generating buzz with the release of still cuts capturing the atmosphere and setting of a nostalgic era. The drama is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, September 13, at 10:40 PM.
Set in 1980s Seoul, 'A Hundred Memories' tells the story of young people working as bus attendants, exploring their friendships and first loves. The series focuses on the lives of attendants who helped passengers on and off buses, collected fares, and greeted them with the familiar shout "Alright," weaving together youthful excitement with realistic dilemmas.
The main cast has already been revealed and is garnering attention as well. Kim Da Mi stars as the protagonist Go Young Rye, who works as a bus attendant to support her family while still holding onto her dream of going to college. Shin Ye Eun plays the free-spirited and cheerful attendant Seo Jong Hee. Heo Nam Jun is cast as Han Jae Pil, a man who fatefully enters the two women's lives. The chemistry between the three actors is cited as a major reason for the drama’s high anticipation.

The drama is directed by Kim Sang Ho, known for his visually emotional work on 'Thirty-Nine' and 'Listen to Love.' The script is co-written by Yang Hee Seung and Kim Bo Ram, who have crafted realistic and heartfelt dialogues in dramas such as 'Once Again' and 'Crash Course in Romance.'
The newly released stills draw attention with retro colors and costumes unique to the 1980s. The two main characters, dressed as bus attendants, are captured on camera, and their expressions and gestures raise curiosity about how their crushes and budding feelings will unfold.

'A Hundred Memories' is already attracting attention for not just being a romance, but for faithfully recreating the sentiments of the 1980s while delivering messages relatable to today’s youth. Featuring bus attendants as the central profession is rare in the drama industry, giving the series both symbolic and original appeal.
After viewing the first and second teasers, netizens responded enthusiastically. They commented, "Heo Nam Jun is finally in a lead role. Been waiting for this day!" "Finally a drama worth watching," "Wow, this is a must-watch…" "Kim Da Mi and Shin Ye Eun together. Really looking forward to it," "Can’t wait for their friendship," and "The concept is unique and feels warm. This might be a huge hit."
