On August 22nd, five police officers in Busan are under internal investigation after being caught watching Psy’s 'Summer Swag 2025 concert' without authorization.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, the officers are suspected of attending the concert at the Busan Asiad Auxiliary Stadium on August 15–16 while on duty for traffic control in the area. Some of the officers reportedly wore their uniforms covered by coats and entered the venue without tickets.
The incident came to light when concert staff noticed the officers’ suspicious behavior and requested ticket verification. The officers did not have the wristbands required for entry, which are issued to all attendees.
The Busan police will determine whether disciplinary action is warranted after completing their internal investigation. Police sources, however, claim that the officers only watched the performance briefly while visiting the restroom during duty.
'Summer Swag 2025' is Psy’s signature concert series, which kicked off in June in Incheon and has continued in Uijeongbu, Daejeon, Gwacheon, Sokcho, Suwon, Daegu, Busan, and Gwangju.
