Kingdom stuns in 'History Of Kingdom : PartVII. Jahan' concept photos

KINGDOM (킹덤) is a seven-member boy group under GF Entertainment. They debuted on February 18, 2021, with their first mini album, History of Kingdom : PartⅠ. Arthur.

On September 19, the group posted a teaser for their seventh mini album, History of Kingdom : PartⅦ. Jahan. On September 26, the group posted the comeback scheduler, revealing that the album would be released on October 18. Initially, fans were tipped off back when Mujin's MV was released with a hint at the end of the MV.

Starting September 27, Kingdom began dropping their first set of concept photos titled 'Repetitive' version. The members look stunning in glamorous white outfits. Starting October 1, they began rolling out their irregular version concept photos starting with members Jahan and Hwon.

The first set, the Repetitive version, is mostly fine, but they really got to get rid of the belts, or change them up. They don't seem representative at all of the Mughal Empire, which is the concept of this album. And don't get me started on the Irregular version. Are they treasure hunters?? I'm holding out hope for the Fatalistic version!! For previous comebacks, I know they took a ton of liberties with the period costumes in order to modernize them, but they still embodied an aesthetic that at least looked like it could come from the time period. But I'm not as impressed with these costumes for the Jahan-centered comeback, though Jahan, Ivan's, and Mujin's Repetitive version costumes are not too bad. I just hope they have a Fatalistic set that's even better! When you remember the costumes we saw Jahan wear to tease his Mughal kingdom in the groups's 2021 debut music video "Excalibur", they set the bar a bit high in my opinion lol. Just look at how good these are!
