Comedian Yang Se Chan made viewers laugh by revealing, for the first time, a confession message he once received from Park Na Rae.
In the video titled ‘Maybe you were bothered, noona’, uploaded on November 26th to the YouTube channel ‘Narae Sik’, Yang Se Chan shared Park Na Rae’s past confession and his honest reaction at the time. Park Na Rae had previously revealed on a broadcast that she genuinely had a crush on Yang Se Chan, drawing renewed attention.
Yang Se Chan explained, “Park Na Rae made the first move. When she told me ‘I like you’ before, I pushed her away. She confessed after drinking, and I told her, ‘Please stop. This isn’t right,’ and turned her down.”
He continued, “Later she called and said, ‘I’m not drunk, and I have something to tell you.’ I replied, ‘Don’t say it. It won’t work anyway. Let’s not talk,’ and hung up.”
About 30 minutes later, Park Na Rae sent him a long text message. Yang Se Chan revealed, “She wrote, ‘Se Chan, I’m being serious. If I don’t say this now, I think I’ll regret it. I’m not expecting anything else.’”
The message continued. “She said, ‘I don’t need anything else. I’m not even asking you to date me. I just want to tell you how I feel. Please grant me just one thing. Let’s watch a movie together once. That’s all I need.’ I replied, ‘Noona, I’m sorry. Whether we watch a movie or not, my feelings won’t change. I don’t think this is right.’”
Yang Se Chan also confessed, “When she called again, I immediately said, ‘Get lost, you bastard. I don’t like you,’ and hung up.”
Park Na Rae then added with laughter, “After that, I sent him a message saying, ‘I was drunk, just kidding, nyah,’” causing everyone to burst into laughter. Yang Se Chan said remorsefully, “Looking back now that I’m older, I don’t know why I was so cold.”
Park Na Rae responded, “At the time I was hurt, but now that 15 years have passed, I’m actually thankful he cut things off so clearly.”
According to Yang Se Chan, Park Na Rae acted even more coldly for about a year afterward. Park Na Rae explained, “It seems like it went on for a long time on the show, but in reality it was only about two months. Everything was compressed, which is why it felt longer on TV.”
