Kim Go Eun, a breakout figure from Netflix’s 'Single’s Inferno 5,' candidly addressed plastic surgery rumors surrounding her, showcasing her straightforward and honest charm.
On March 27, Kim Go Eun released a “100K Celebration Q&A” video on her channel Goni goeun. One of the most attention-grabbing moments in the video was her response to questions about cosmetic procedures. When asked directly whether she had undergone plastic surgery, she answered without hesitation, “I did have eye surgery. I got double eyelid surgery,” displaying a refreshingly candid attitude.
However, she firmly denied rumors about nose surgery. “My nose is completely natural—I haven’t had surgery or even fillers,” she clarified. “I used to feel self-conscious about my slightly hooked nose and even considered getting it shaved down. I actually went in for a consultation, but I was told the procedure was more complicated than I thought and that my nose could droop, so I decided against it,” she revealed.
Kim Go Eun also expressed frustration over recent online rumors claiming she had undergone facial contouring surgery. “I’ve often been told I have a slim face, but I never imagined people would think I had contouring surgery,” she said, reacting with disbelief. As for future plans, she shared her interest in beauty treatments, saying, “Rather than surgery, I’d like to try Ultherapy, a lifting procedure.”
In the same video, Kim Go Eun also clarified her relationship status with Jo I Geon, which had drawn significant attention following Single’s Inferno 5. Although the two revealed they were in a “talking stage” after the show ended, she recently confirmed in the comments that they have decided to part ways.
“We spent enough time getting to know each other, but we’ve decided to remain as supportive older brother and younger sister,” she explained. “Not every ‘situationship’ turns into a relationship—it’s just a natural process,” she added. “I wanted to be clear because I didn’t want to take advantage of the support people have shown us.”
