Hyomin, a former member of the K pop group T-ara, has shared a glimpse into her elegant housewarming party at her newlywed home in Hannam dong, Seoul.
On April 1, Hyomin took to social media to express her gratitude, writing, “Thank you everyone for enjoying the food and having a great time,” alongside a series of photos capturing the lively gathering.
In the revealed images, Hyomin is seen wearing a black apron in her spacious, restaurant like kitchen, busily preparing dishes for her guests. Her hands on approach and attention to detail immediately caught fans’ attention, showcasing not only her hosting skills but also her passion for cooking.
The star studded event was attended by several prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including actress Go So Young, singer Yoon Jong Shin, Big Bang’s Daesung, and actress Yewon. The impressive guest list and warm atmosphere highlighted Hyomin’s close relationships within the industry.
Hyomin’s culinary efforts also became a major talking point. She prepared a wide variety of dishes, including boiled pork (suyuk), Korean style raw beef (muntigi), wine pairings, and even escargot, a classic French delicacy. Sharing her honest experience, she joked, “It was my first time making snails, and prepping them wasn’t easy. I don’t think I’ll try it again,” drawing laughter from fans.
In addition, Hyomin revealed a thoughtful gift from Go So young, saying, “Kimchi made by So young sister,” further emphasizing their close friendship. After wrapping up the event, Hyomin added a lighthearted update, saying, “I’ll take a short break from hosting housewarming parties. I need to get back to work,” hinting at her busy schedule.
Meanwhile, Hyomin married a finance professional ten years her senior last April and recently moved into a luxury apartment in Hannam dong, Yongsan District, Seoul. The newlywed home has reportedly garnered attention for its high market value, estimated at around 10 billion KRW (approximately 6.65 million USD).
