This article contains plot points and episode summaries from ‘Siren's Kiss’ Episode 9.
The tense relationship between Park Min Young and Wi Ha Joon continues to unravel.
In episode 9 of the tvN drama 'Siren's Kiss,' which aired on March 30, Han Seol Ah (played by Park Min Young) pushed Cha Woo Seok (played by Wi Ha Joon) away in an effort to protect him. However, while pursuing separate leads, the two unexpectedly crossed paths again in an unlikely location.
In this episode, Cha Woo Seok struggled to prove Han Seol Ah’s innocence after she was arrested at the scene as a suspect in the murder of Baek Jun Beom (Kim Jung Hyun). Upon discovering traces at the scene that did not belong to either Han Seol Ah or Baek Jun Beom, Cha Woo Seok proposed the possibility of a third party to the detectives.

Thanks to his efforts, Han Seol Ah was soon released from the police station. Despite this, she remained emotionally shaken after witnessing the horrific death of a former lover she had believed to be dead, heightening her sense of the tragedy surrounding her.
Concerned for Cha Woo Seok—who had believed in and comforted her—Han Seol Ah found herself unable to ignore the danger he faced. With the real culprit still at large and Cha Woo Seok willing to risk everything to uncover the truth, she chose to bid him a calm farewell, hiding her true feelings behind a composed expression as she told him, “You can’t get hurt anymore.”
As the investigation into Baek Jun Beom’s murder continued, Han Seol Ah returned to Royal Auction and made a surprising move. Still haunted by her father’s past—having been forced to paint forgeries under the orders of former chairman Kim Sun Ae and ultimately taking the fall—she decided to dig into Kim Sun Ae’s list of properties held under borrowed names.
At the same time, Cha Woo Seok, who was investigating a series of insured artworks at Royal Auction that had been mysteriously destroyed, began to suspect a deeper connection. Observing the company’s method of collecting insurance payouts, he was reminded of Joo Hyun Soo (Park Ji An), who had murdered her younger sister for insurance money. He then began tracking her, suspecting a possible link between her and Royal Auction.

After locating Joo Hyun Soo through Dr. Shin (Yoon Jae Chan), Cha Woo Seok headed to her location, where he discovered a package at the door bearing the name of a driver who had transported artworks for Royal Auction. Convinced of her involvement in the art-related fire incidents, he attempted to leave the building quickly—only for tension to spike as Joo Hyun Soo arrived in the elevator.
Just as she reached the same floor, Han Seol Ah suddenly pulled Cha Woo Seok into a hidden corner, covering his mouth. Shocked to see her again when they least expected it, the two found themselves reunited in the same space. With both now entangled in uncovering the truth behind the art insurance fraud case, anticipation continues to build over what will unfold next.
Delivering intense immersion, episode 9 of Siren recorded an average nationwide rating of 4.8% and a peak of 5.9%, while in the Seoul metropolitan area it achieved an average of 4.5% and a peak of 5.8%. The drama has ranked first in its time slot across cable and general programming channels for nine consecutive episodes, rising by about 1% from episode 8 and further heightening expectations for the remaining episodes.
