Rapper and singer MC Mong caught fans’ attention by sharing a recent photo with Lee Seung Gi.
On September 3, MC Mong posted a new photo on his personal account, showing himself posing happily with acquaintances. What especially stood out was the appearance of Lee Seung Gi, who is known to be close friends with MC Mong.
Back in July, MC Mong surprised fans by announcing plans to study abroad. At the time, he explained, “I’ve been suffering from severe depression and underwent surgery that left my health so poor it was difficult to continue making music. There’s no need to pay attention to groundless rumors. I want to choose a path that will allow me to keep making music longer.”
He added, “I will definitely release an album this year and hold a concert, even if it’s the last for a while, before going abroad. I want to focus on studying music and language. Producing and working as a creator has been like a dream — those experiences made me so happy, and I still love and support everyone I worked with.”
MC Mong co-founded the ONEHUNNIT label with Cha Ga Won and later served as executive producer of Big Planet Made. However, earlier this year he was suddenly removed from his role at ONEHUNNIT.
