Yoo Jae Suk celebrated the opening of Lee Hyori’s new yoga studio Ananda with a thoughtful gift that’s drawing attention online. Lee Hyori shared a photo on the studio’s official social media account, showing a tall palm plant sent by Yoo Jae Suk. The ribbon attached to the pot read, “Director Lee Hyori, may your business thrive. Yoo Jae Suk.”
The studio, located in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, marks Lee Hyori’s official step into the wellness space. Known for her deep commitment to yoga, she had planned to begin classes in the first week of September, but a delay in the reservation system pushed the launch back by one week.
In a statement, the studio emphasized its intention to maintain a peaceful and focused atmosphere. “We respectfully decline all sponsorships and offers. We strive to create a space for quiet and dedicated practice. We ask for your understanding if we’re unable to respond to every inquiry.”
After spending 11 years living in Jeju Island with her husband, musician Lee Sang Soon, Lee Hyori relocated to Seoul last year. The couple reportedly purchased a standalone home in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, for approximately 6 billion KRW (approximately $4.32 million), paid entirely in cash.
With support from close friends and growing interest from the public, Ananda is quickly emerging as a serene destination for yoga enthusiasts in the heart of Seoul.
