The drama 'Confidence Queen' starring Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk, is finally changing its broadcast time.
On September 15, TV Chosun's official drama social media account posted a notice announcing, "The airtime for 'Confidence Queen' has been changed from 9:10 PM to 10:30 PM every Saturday and Sunday."
This move is seen as an effort to avoid direct competition with the highly popular tvN weekend drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' starring YoonA. 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' recently surpassed double-digit ratings, reaching a new personal high of 15.4%.
In contrast, 'Confidence Queen' began with a 1.1% viewership rating for its first episode and rose to 1.5% in episode two, but then fell to 1.0% in episode three and 0.9% in episode four. Despite its colorful con schemes and eye-catching makeup on the actors, it has struggled to compete with 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.'

'Confidence Queen' depicts three con artists, each with distinct charms, who use ingenious schemes to swindle money from people driven by greed and desire. The drama stars Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk and is the Korean remake of the Japanese original 'The Confidence Man JP.'
In episode four, which aired on the 14th, Yoon Yi Rang (Park Min Young), James (Park Hee Soon), and Myung Gu Ho (Joo Jong Hyuk) orchestrated a massive con to expose the dark side of famous art critic Yoo Myung Han (Lee Yi Kyung), publicly stripping him of his money and reputation, delivering a strong sense of catharsis.
With a variety of stories still planned, attention is now focused on whether the time change will help 'Confidence Queen' recover its ratings.
Meanwhile, 'Confidence Queen' is available simultaneously on TV Chosun and Coupang Play, and through Amazon Prime Video, it can be watched in 240 countries and regions worldwide, excluding Korea.
