
G-DRAGON is officially making his return to the global stage, and major international media are paying close attention. Following the announcement of his U.S. and Europe tour dates for the 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch], leading outlets such as Rolling Stone, Billboard, Forbes, People, Variety, Hypebeast, and NME have published widespread coverage, underscoring the global excitement around his comeback.
Rolling Stone headlined its exclusive interview with the phrase “He said he’d return — and he kept his word”, referring to G-DRAGON's long-awaited reappearance. In the interview, he shared: “This is not just a concert. It’s my next chapter. I’ve grown, I’ve changed, and I’ve challenged myself in unimaginable ways. I hope fans can feel all of that on stage.”
Billboard added to the buzz, quoting G-DRAGON as saying: “This tour is my way of connecting with everyone through music. I’ll give everything I have on stage to create an unforgettable experience.”
Other outlets including Forbes, Hypebeast, and NME referred to him as “the King of K-pop”, while providing detailed breakdowns of his tour schedule.

On June 17, his agency Galaxy Corporation released the third batch of tour dates for the 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]. The North American leg begins on August 22 in Newark, followed by Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The Europe leg kicks off on September 20 in Paris. These shows mark his first North American and European tour in eight years, following the Act III, M.O.T.T.E World Tour in 2017.
So far, G-DRAGON has successfully completed shows in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, and Macau. He will continue his Asia-Pacific leg with concerts in Sydney (July 2–3) and Melbourne (July 6–7), followed by stops in nine Asian cities including Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Additional tour dates and cities are expected to be announced soon.
This renewed spotlight from international media and fans alike reflects G-DRAGON’s enduring global appeal and the high anticipation surrounding his return.
