1. Ruby

Fresh off his win for "Best Producer" at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards, WOOZI has released his mixtape, Ruby. This single, aptly entitled after the album, debuted on the worldwide iTunes song chart at number 3. "Ruby" is self-written and in English, a surprising change of pace for the artist. 

"Ruby" features a rock-themed concept that has an edgy feel. Frankly, I thought WOOZI would opt for a ballad, so the genre was a refreshing difference from that expectation. The song has a hook that's pure alternative rock and an excellent fit for WOOZI to flex his range vocally. Exciting, energetic, and easy-to-consume, "Ruby" is a safe bet.  
 

MV REVIEW

With a cool demeanor and sophisticated look, WOOZI boasts a simple MV concept for "Ruby." WOOZI is truly a musician through and through with his rock-star appeal in this MV. He even includes a truly epic guitar solo that solidifies his place as a versatile and aptly equipped idol. Visually striking and refreshing in sound, "Ruby" is a delightful change of pace for K-Pop.
