Professional volleyball player Kim Yeon Kyung playfully lied about her friendship with Song Hye Kyo.
On the March 3 airing of MBC's 'I Live Alone', Kim Yeon Kyung and a fellow volleyball player Ma Yunwen went to eat out at a hot pot restaurant in Shanghai.
The waitress of the restaurant revealed she's a fan of Song Joong Ki. Hearing this, Kim Yeon Kyung recalled the time she met his wife Song Hye Kyo at the 'Korea-China Economic Partnership' event in Beijing. The athlete then turned to the waitress and said, "I'm best friends with Song Hye Kyo", and said, "I meet her sometimes."
