Former 2NE1 member Dara is set to showcase her candid wit and honest charm.
Dara will appear on episode 551 of the YouTube variety show VIVO TV, airing on January 7 at 7 p.m. KST, where she sits down for a conversation with comedians Song Eun Yi and Kim Sook.
As the first celebrity to officially declare herself part of the so-called “Kim Sook line,” Dara’s appearance prompts Kim Sook to express special affection, jokingly saying, “She’s my child.”
Dara also arrives with a rare and special gift, impressing not only the MCs but even the production staff with her loyalty—despite having no specific promotional agenda for the appearance.
However, she sparks laughter by candidly telling Kim Sook, “It’s better to see each other occasionally.”
During the episode, Dara opens up about how she came to join MBC every1’s 'Video Star', sharing honest reflections on the challenges she faced at the time. She also reveals behind-the-scenes stories from the show, including the unexpected weight gain of as much as 8 kilograms during filming, which once fueled health-related rumors.
