ILLIT are set to return to music shows on the back of “NOT CUTE ANYMORE”’s impressive chart resurgence.

According to Belift Lab, a label under HYBE, ILLIT will appear on 'M Countdown' on January 8 and 'Inkigayo' on January 11 KST, performing their debut single’s title track “NOT CUTE ANYMORE.”

This marks ILLIT’s return to domestic music show stages roughly one month after officially wrapping up promotions for the song, driven by the track’s steadily growing popularity among global music fans.

“NOT CUTE ANYMORE” has demonstrated remarkable longevity. Since its release last November, the song has continued to climb Korea’s major music charts, recently reaching No. 15 on Melon Top 100 as of January 4.

Its global momentum is equally notable. On the latest Billboard charts released on January 6 (dated January 10), the track ranked No. 10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100, bringing it one step closer to entering the main Hot 100. This sustained rise stands out, as songs typically see a decline in attention once promotional activities conclude.

The song has also maintained a five-week run on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart and secured spots on both the global and U.S. YouTube Weekly Top Songs charts (tracking period: December 26–January 1).

Short-form platforms have played a decisive role in fueling the song’s reverse-charting success. Featuring an addictive rhythm and polished melody, “NOT CUTE ANYMORE” has gained widespread traction as background music for the trending “hood job shot challenge,” resonating strongly with Gen Z audiences worldwide.

The track has topped Korea’s Daily Shorts Top Songs chart for 25 consecutive days (as of January 5) and ranks highly in multiple countries, including the United States (No. 2), Canada (No. 3), the United Kingdom (No. 5), and Australia (No. 6). On TikTok, content using the song—combining the original and sped-up versions—has surpassed 660,000 videos as of January 6.

International media have also taken notice. The Hollywood Reporter selected “NOT CUTE ANYMORE” as one of “The 40 Best K-pop Songs of 2025,” praising it as “a track that maturely expands the group’s sound and image in step with the members’ growth.”
