Lee Won Min, former CEO of WM Entertainment, is embarking on a new chapter after establishing a new music agency, MW Entertainment.
MW Entertainment has officially opened its headquarters in Mangwon-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, following Lee’s departure from RBW, where he had been the largest shareholder. Lee officially left WM Entertainment in August 2025.
After founding WM Entertainment in 2008, Lee played a pivotal role in launching a number of successful K-pop acts, including B1A4, Oh My Girl, ONF, Lee Chae Yeon, and USPEER.
MW Entertainment will introduce USPEER as its first official act. The company has acquired the group’s exclusive contracts and trademark rights from RBW and is currently preparing for USPEER’s comeback in the first half of this year.
In addition, MW Entertainment has announced plans to debut a brand-new boy group in the future. “Building on 30 years of insight, experience, and expertise, I hope to take on a new leap forward,” Lee stated. He added, “Please look forward to the birth of new K-pop stars who will lead the industry’s trends, equipped not only with musicality and skills, but also strong character.”
