Inseong of SF9 is set to share his most honest personal story through his solo album.
On January 7 KST, FNC Entertainment released a teaser video titled “is this real me?”, a making-of preview for Inseong’s first mini album 'Crossfade:' via the agency’s official social media channels.
The teaser captures traces of Inseong’s inner reflctions throughout the album’s creation process. It portrays his journey of adding individuality to everyday life to shape a personal character, while navigating the space between “the version of me the public likes” and “the real me.” Even in its brief runtime, the video conveys Inseong’s candid narrative, which will be explored in greater depth in the full making-of video to be released later.
Inseong’s first solo mini album 'Crossfade:' centers on the moment where two selves coexist and intersect within one person. The album captures the gradually overlapping boundary between the “real me” in solitude and the “masked me” shaped by others’ perceptions. Rather than presenting SF9’s Inseong, the album delves into the inner world of Kim Inseong himself.
As the first SF9 member to kick off solo activities in 2026, Inseong will release Crossfade: on January 14 at 6 p.m. KST. Following the album’s release, he plans to actively connect with fans through mini live sessions and festival performances.
