According to Daily Mail, Nokyungtong was in a relationship with a married 40-year-old South Korean man identified as Kim. However, Kim left Nokyungtong and returned to his family in Korea when he found out about her pregnancy.
It's reported that Kim suggested abortion, but Nokyungtong "unexpectedly" gave birth in the bathroom. Shocked by the sudden birth, the young mother wrapped up the baby in a plastic bag and threw him out the window from the 17th floor.
A witness, who claims he saw a large object drop from above, called the police when he found a dead baby on the ground. The newborn reportedly still had his umbilical cords attached.

Nokyungtong has admitted to throwing the baby out the window. Police Colonel Apichai Khemphet stated, "This is a very brutal crime. The baby was born in a healthy condition. The mother did not have grief for what had happened."
The police added she's now in the hospital but will stay in police custody to be prosecuted.
