Super Junior's Kyuhyun sustained an injury during the final day of the group's 'Super Show 10' concert in Seoul.
On August 24th, during the last of three sold-out shows at the KSPO Dome, Kyuhyun reportedly injured his ankle while coming down from the stage during the latter half of the concert.
SM Entertainment quickly released a statement regarding the situation, explaining, "Kyuhyun twisted his ankle, resulting in a pulled muscle." Despite the injury, the agency assured fans that Kyuhyun's determination to finish the show was strong. "He displays a strong will to participate in the rest of the performance, so he will be on stage without dancing for the remaining parts of the show."
The concert series, which celebrates Super Junior's incredible 20-year career, was a massive global event. For fans unable to attend in person, the August 22nd show was broadcast live in cinemas across 14 regions, including the UK, Japan, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the concerts on the 23rd and 24th were streamed online worldwide via Beyond LIVE and Weverse, allowing E.L.F. (the fan nickname of Super Junior) from all over the globe to join the celebration.
After successfully wrapping up their Seoul dates, Super Junior will continue the 'Super Show 10' world tour, with stops planned in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Manila, Mexico City, and more, running until March of next year.
