BTS’ Jungkook has reached a new milestone with his song “Standing Next to You,” the title track of his solo album ‘GOLDEN’, released in November, 2023.
As of 02:24 AM (KST), August 24, 2025, the track’s music video has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube, the third of his solo songs to do so after “Seven (feat. Latto)” and “3D (feat. Jack Harlow).” Upon release, “Standing Next to You” debuted at No. 5 on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ chart, and cumulatively remained on the chart for 19 weeks. Combining wind instruments and explosive percussion, the song is laced with the message that true love transcends all adversity.
With his powerful vocality and smooth dancing skills, Jungkook proved himself as a representative male solo artist of the 2020s. The singer recently returned to the public spotlight as he was officially discharged from the military on June 11, after completing 18 months of mandatory service.
