Monsta X have unveiled a powerful new side through the ‘Underdog X’ version of their upcoming mini album ‘THE X’.
On August 23, 2025 KST, their label Starship Entertainment shared the latest concept photos via the group’s official social media. The images portray the members in loosely worn outfits and unkempt hairstyles, giving the impression of dogs transforming into humans. The visuals emphasize a free-spirited yet intense charisma, enhanced by the appearance of surreal, myth-like giant canines that amplify each member’s individuality and concept. The group photos highlight their signature synergy and explosive energy at its peak.
Leading up to the release, Monsta X have been dropping teasers including the music video and performance video for pre-release track ‘Do What I Want’, which introduced a fresh concept and sound, surprising fans both domestically and internationally. The track reaffirmed their reputation as a “trust-and-listen performance group” known for consistent high-quality stages and music.
The group is set to officially return on September 1, 2025 KST with the mini album ‘THE X’ and its title track ‘N the Front’, raising anticipation for what new surprises they will deliver this comeback. Both the album and the title track will be released on major music platforms at 6 p.m. KST.
