Actor Kim Su Gyeom has officially left the JTBC soccer variety show ‘Gentlemen’s League 4’ (also known as ‘Let’s Play Soccer 4’) due to chronic illness relapse.
Kim Su Gyeom’s agency Gold Medalist has confirmed the actor’s departure, which is also revealed on the August-24 episode of the show.

This comes as unfortunate news to the team that Kim Su Gyeom was in, ‘Ssakssuri UTD', helmed by coach and former soccer player Kim Nam Il, especially when the actor was the coach’s first pick in the players’ draft. The team is currently in last place among the four teams, looking to turn the tables.

He is replaced by model Lee Ho Yeon, who has been playing on the show as a substitute for team ‘FC Papa Claus’, currently in 3rd place.

Known for his role as the main antagonist Jeon Yeong Bin in season 1 of the Wavve hit series ‘Weak Hero’, which subsequently got acquired by Netflix, Kim Su Gyeom made his acting debut in 2020. He most recently played a supporting role in the 2024 crime thriller TV series ‘Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard’.
