Wanna.B recently returned with a new single entitled 'Why' and had an interview, where they talked about promoting at the same time as Taeyeon with the same song title.

Ami said, "When we first found out about Taeyeon's song title, we were so taken aback. The word 'Why?' really came out like in our title song.  However, it is such an honor to even be able to come back the same day as a senior whom we've always respected so much.  I personally like the song 'I' so much.  Thanks to her refreshing voice and hopeful lyrics, it's a song that I can listen to happily.  She's an artist with an exclusive charm."

Eunsom added, "I heard that Wonder Girls, whom I've watched over since I was young, is making a comeback.  It's an honor that we get to stand on the same stage.  I'm also happy that we get to be with eminent girl groups.  We will work hard with a fun rather than competitive attitude."

Good luck!

I noticed that in KPOP there isn't much creativity to titles of tracks. Many titles are the same as others.... why?

and so? TVXQ and Girls Day promoted at same time with an song called something. No one died because of that

I feel sad for them getting hate just because of these stuff. :( Hate the company, not the group, if ever. :< If you're not gonna support them, it's okay, just please don't hinder them from achieving their dreams. :( Same goes for other groups.

another idol group trying make their way to recognition by taking advantage of the media?

moorg sarangsarrah Thursday, June 30, 2016

You mean like every single group or artist does, if their agency can get them the spot, after they release a new song?

Nova_REMIX sarangsarrah Thursday, June 30, 2016

Kinda like what SME did for SNSD and also used them with Super Junior? Hm...

sarangsarrah moorg Friday, July 1, 2016

not necessarily a bad thing isnt it ;)

sarangsarrah Nova_REMIX Friday, July 1, 2016

what did they do? as far as i'm concerned back when snsd and suju got popular we didnt have viral content or easy internet access like we do now. these days it's so easy to climb to fame or recognition by latching on to something that could make others talk about. it's not necessarily a bad thing. it's part of business and marketing

Nova_REMIX sarangsarrah Sunday, July 3, 2016

Media play still existed. Journalists still spread articles online. Your implications about Wanna.B were negative and now it seems like you're trying to clean it up.

i'm not responsible for anyonr's interpretation of what i said. to me, that is the reality. if companies are clever and use it to their advantage for business and marketing purposes and that it does get the group out there, then it's all good. but if they fail, then they must've done something wrong somewhere which is why i said, it's not necessarily bad, just like how it's not alwags necessarily a good thing

Why not?

eager_beaver Thursday, June 30, 2016

It's not the first time two K-pop songs have the same title, and many of the "duplicate" song titles have often been released around the same time. One could make a long list of K-pop songs with the same titles.

Winston eager_beaver Thursday, June 30, 2016

Yup. its just rare that the same title song gets promoted at the same time, though it did happen in 2014 Janurary, TVXQ's Something Vs Girls Day Something. also promoted at the same time.

Mamamoo "Um Ah Oh Yeah". Notice the bedroom, the plane, the hospital, and the hallway.

Now, Wanna.B "Why". Again, notice the bedroom the plane, the hospital and the hallway, ESPECIALLY the hallway.

no, they are not identical. But damn people, c'mon!
