During the recently aired episode of SBS MTV's '2016 Dream Concert,' fans couldn't help but notice that among the lineup of idols, IOI were completely edited out.

Though Kim Se Jung's solo stage was included, IOI was the only group to have their name omitted when the groups were introduced in the beginning.

The omission of IOI's name could be viewed as simple editing error; however, the bigger problem was that IOI's performance was not included at all in the show.

IOI fans rose up in arms to complain about the unfair distribution of screen time, commenting, "They abruptly canceled [on IOI] for a radio show appearance before because there was 'not enough space for them on the show,' but now they completely edited out their performance," "Are they shunning [IOI] because they debuted through a cable channel," "Why are they doing this to IOI after using their music as background music?" and many more.

What are your thoughts? Do you believe that the editing out of IOI's performance was a simple mistake or intentionally done?

It cannot be a mistake

liviekate Tuesday, June 14, 2016

What was the point of inviting them to perform in the first place?

Anyone want to join IOI line fan group? add: luffylovetori

Such a petty move. Thanks for making it more obvious SBS.

Why did they do it? Do you suppose 101 management wanted it?

snakeyes Monday, June 13, 2016

At least MBC didn't do this childish stuff.

Khuz snakeyes Tuesday, June 14, 2016

Nah...they did the same thing like sbs. They didn't let ioi promote in music core and weekly idol.

snakeyes Khuz Tuesday, June 14, 2016

Yeah but at least MBC didn't invite them into their program and then edited out their performance.

SugarFree snakeyes Tuesday, June 14, 2016

They did invite them on Weekly Idol didn't they? But cancelled before filming.

snakeyes SugarFree Tuesday, June 14, 2016

yeah i am gonna tell u once again MBC cancelled before they began filming but SBS invite them and start filming tired IOI who just flying from paris after their KCON paris Participation to make their last dream girl last stage performance at dream concert and then totally edit out all of their performance and for what a lame excuse ? FU SBS

I'm sure IOI themselves were just happy to be at the concert, and the fans that paid money to see them got to see them. Honestly, IOI were way down the pecking order when you look at all the other groups that performed on that night, it's no surprise they'd get cut.

"Honestly, IOI were way down the pecking order when you look at all the other groups that performed on that night, it's no surprise they'd get cut." what ? Yeah whatever haters, you hate ioi period.

SugarFree snakeyes Tuesday, June 14, 2016

I was a big fan of Produce 101, and I've followed IOI's progress since the show ended, but facts are facts - they're a new group who can't get many appearances on public broadcasting. Compare that to the likes of EXO, T-ara, Gfriend, Taemin, Red Velvet VIXX, all groups who have been around longer and had far more success, of course they'll be down the pecking order. That's just how it works.

Khuz SugarFree Wednesday, June 15, 2016

It's all just about dirty conspiracy between major broadcasts and major agencies. They afraid ioi will get all of attention if they let them appear in major broadcast.

SugarFree Khuz Wednesday, June 15, 2016

Why would they be afraid of that? They won't become the top group overnight and even if they did - all networks would want the top groups on their shows to get more viewers and attention. I think people here are a bit deluded when it comes the the level of IOI's popularity.

Khuz SugarFree Wednesday, June 15, 2016

Lol you know nothing about ioi. Did you know most of variety show that they're in has hit the rating record (ex: sugarman, snl). They got more cf than other girlgroup in just 1 month. Then why do you think twice did comeback 1 day before ioi' debut? If jyp wants somi(jyp) to be success, they should do it 2 weeks before/after ioi's debut.

SugarFree Khuz Thursday, June 16, 2016

Do you think they should've headlined the concert or something? Then you must know nothing about K-pop. I'm aware they're popular, but there are so many groups out there who are ahead of them, and unfortunately for IOI a lot of those groups were at the Dream Concert as well. Seniority counts too.

Khuz SugarFree Thursday, June 16, 2016

Nah... I just wanna say it's too much for a hot girlgroup could be edited out like that. I've never seen this shit happen on any other hot or popular girl/ boygroups. And by the way popularity beats seniority in kpop concert like this. It just proved my conspiracy theory between that both fuc*ing major broadcasts and major agencies.

snakeyes Monday, June 13, 2016

This is one of the reason why all of SBS program rating is dropped, they are just to petty.

federick Monday, June 13, 2016

business is a business. would you let KFC chicken in a McDonald's value meal?

KngSarang federick Tuesday, June 14, 2016

That's a very appetizing way to put it.

i_am_diffrent Monday, June 13, 2016

I read somewhere else that this wasnt intentional, but omitting the name and performance? Sigh~ why do they do this? :(

The live broadcast can't edit IOI out; however it's a different case for when they air the show again at some other time.
