On October 8, Boys Republic held their comeback showcase at Ilchi Art Hall in Cheongdam-dong for their first mini-album 'IDENTITY'.

At the showcase, member Sungjoon said, "This is our first showcase since our debut. We prepared a lot for our performance, but we are still very nervous. If we make mistakes because we are nervous, please look at us kindly."
He later added, "Our mini-album's title song 'You are Special to Me' gives an intense vibe because it has a strong LA metal sound with elements of rock mixed in. There is a part in the song where we go on our knees and shriek eerily... We will show you our manly image."
The boys performed their title song "You are Special to Me" and the song "What For" live during their showcase. They also revealed they will be making their comeback on music shows in October.
Boys Republic's mini-album includes a total of 7 songs and will be available in 100 different countries, including those in South America, Europe, and Asia.
