Actress Lee Min Jung paid tribute to the late Ahn Sung Ki, recalling memories they shared together.
On January 6 KST, Lee Min Jung posted a photo taken with Ahn Sung Ki during his lifetime on her social media. Along with the image, she wrote, “I was on my way back from paying my respects when this photo suddenly came to me—it surprised me,” adding, “You were such a warm and wonderful teacher. I will always remember you,” expressing her condolences.
In the released photo, Lee Min Jung and Ahn Sung Ki are seen sitting side by side, looking into the camera. Her bright smile beside the late actor adds a poignant sense of nostalgia and emotion.
Earlier that morning, Lee Min Jung also expressed her condolences at the 2026 Korea First Brand Awards, held at a hotel in Seoul. Dressed in black, she wore a white flower accessory to honor the late actor. During the photo call, she politely declined reporters’ requests to pose with a heart gesture, asking for their understanding. The awards ceremony itself proceeded in an overall subdued and respectful atmosphere following news of Ahn Sung Ki’s passing.
