Jackson shared that the concept behind the song was inspired by the thought, "I dreamed of going to the ends of hell to face you," giving insight into the intense and powerful vibe of 'BUCK.' The track is a dynamic dance-pop anthem with Jackson's deep, rich vocals and breathy delivery. The song was released alongside a dark and intense music video, directed by Jackson Wang and Nicholas Lam, which blends chilling visuals with explosive choreography, showcasing Jackson's powerful stage presence.
Following the success of the pre-release tracks 'High Alone' and 'GBAD,' which garnered global chart success and critical acclaim, Jackson further expands his musical universe with 'BUCK.' The full album, 'MAGICMAN 2,' is set to release on July 18, 2025, and will be divided into four chapters.
