Shortly after HYBE Labels and Geffen Records announced Manon's hiatus from KATSEYE activities, the singer herself clarified her position through a Weverse DM message.
Although HYBE and Geffen cited "health and wellbeing" as the reasons for Manon's temporary hiatus, Manon seemingly felt differently, as she wrote on February 20 EST:
Meanwhile, HYBE Labels and Geffen Records will premiere its newest global girl group audition program, 'World Scout: The Final Piece', on February 24 at 8 PM JST via ABEMA TV in Japan. The program sets out on the search for the last member of HYBE x Geffen's new global girl group, which will be comprised of Emily, Lexie, and Samara from 'The Debut: Dream Academy' plus one final member chosen through 'World Scout'.
