On February 18, the YouTube channel whateverplay released a new video titled 'Deep Gopchang Stew Broth and Deep Tears at a True Friend’s Drinking Session (with HaHa) | Day Drinking EP.93.' In the episode, HaHa shared candid stories about his past while enjoying drinks with Shin Gi Ru.
HaHa openly admitted, “I used to be a night owl, and I was really weak against temptation. There were a lot of false rumors about me, but also a lot of true ones.” He reflected further, saying, “I had a lot of anger, was extremely negative, blamed myself often, and had big emotional swings.”
Meeting Yoo Jae Suk was the turning point in his life. HaHa revealed, “When I was at my lowest, I met Jae Suk brother. If it weren’t for him, I really would’ve been doomed.” He continued, “Jae Suk brother once told me, ‘I’ve never met anyone like you who’s so disobedient, yet so loyal.’ I felt his deep trust in me.”
HaHa also shared his perspective on morality and fame, noting, “Who you have beside you is incredibly important. I’m not naturally a moral person like Jae Suk. It’s because I gained popularity and responsibilities that I became more ethical.”
Addressing online criticisms suggesting he was “riding Yoo Jae Suk’s coattails,” HaHa laughed it off: “If that were true, wouldn’t that make me incredible? Who could just leech off Yoo Jae Suk like that?” He concluded with heartfelt words about their long-standing friendship: “I know Yoo Jae Suk loves me more than anyone. Without such a good person by my side, I wouldn’t have come this far.”
