
As of February 21, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core,’ which was originally scheduled to broadcast today, has been canceled.
According to the network’s programming schedule, a special episode of ‘The 1st Places’ will air instead beginning at 3:20 PM KST.
On February 15, MBC premiered ‘The 1st Places,’ a program that brings together winners who have made a significant impact in the history of Korean audition programs. The show features former champions competing once again in a display of skill, experience, and pride.
Among the participants, Baek Chung Kang, who returned to the stage after overcoming colorectal cancer, delivered a performance that resonated strongly with viewers. Revisiting the stage where he once claimed first place, he remarked, “I remember winning first place on this stage, and it feels new all over again.” He performed Lee Sun Hee’s "Fate," captivating the audience with his delicate and emotional delivery.
‘The 1st Places,’ which highlights performances by audition program champions across various genres and generations, airs every Sunday at 9:10 PM KST.
