A popular Korean YouTuber went through an unsavory experience in Paris, which many netizens are saying it's blatant racism against Asians.

On December 26th, a popular Korean Youtuber posted a video showing her unsavory experience in Paris during her Europe trip. 'Calary Girl' is a content creator with more than a million subscribers on YouTube. In this video, she drops by a steak house in a shopping district with her boyfriend. The couple visited the restaurant around 4 PM but their order didn't come out until 5 PM while the tables that came later than them got theirs. 

Her boyfriend said,  "I honestly wanted to give a benefit of the doubt but it's really frustrating. We've been told to wait 5 more minutes but then over 10 minutes have passed since then." They finally got their steak and salad when they asked other waiting staff. 

He commented, "I believe this is racist. Steak can take time to cook but salad isn't something that would take an hour. I don't understand what they would gain by fooling us. It's my first time experiencing something like this and I'm upset."

Many netizens shared their reactions in the comments saying what they experienced was indeed racist. "It happens when you travel to Europe. I had several similar experiences when I was traveling to Spain.", "It is racism. Paris happened to be the most racist city I've traveled to. Don't forget to check your changes when you pay with cash.", "I had a similar experience. I went to the counter and had to say my server wouldn't take my order so if I could ask someone else who can take my order."
