Sandara Park of 2NE1 has drawn attention after unfollowing fellow member Park Bom on social media while publicly showing support for the group’s youngest member, Minzy.
On March 4, Kang Seung Yoon, leader of WINNER, uploaded several photos on his Instagram account along with a blue heart emoji, without any additional caption.
The photos revealed moments from Kang’s concert, which was attended by fellow WINNER member Kim Jin Woo as well as iKON members Kim Jin Hwan and JU-NE (Koo Jun Hoe). Notably, Sandara Park was also seen at the concert alongside Minzy, showing their close friendship and support by attending an event featuring artists from the same YG Entertainment family.
The appearance comes shortly after controversy surrounding Park Bom. On March 3, Park Bom posted on social media addressing a past controversy involving allegations of bringing controlled substances into the country. In her statement, she mentioned Sandara Park and claimed that the situation had been used to portray her negatively.
The following day, Sandara Park responded through social media, writing that she had never used drugs and adding that she hopes Park Bom stays healthy. She subsequently unfollowed Park Bom’s Instagram account.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 debuted in 2009 and celebrates its 16th anniversary this year. Although the group officially disbanded in 2016, the members reunited in 2024 and reconnected with fans worldwide through a global tour.
