Band Daybreak released their digital single “drip_DA” on March 27, along with the official music video.
Inspired by the Korean word "deulipda," meaning to act intensely or forcefully, the title can be interpreted as “violently,” “severely,” “all of a sudden,” or “recklessly.” It also incorporates the modern nuance of “drip,” adding a playful twist. The track depicts a narrator who tries to act confident in front of someone they like but ends up revealing their true feelings.
Written and composed by vocalist Lee Won Seok, the song blends tropical house rhythms with funky rock energy. Its vibrant arrangement captures the excitement and awkwardness of a heartfelt confession.
Daybreak will continue their live performances with appearances at '7th 29CM STAGE Daybreak' on April 3 and '2026 Seoul Hero Rock Festival x Tree hundred' on April 25.
