SHINee is set to hold their eighth solo concert this May, marking a significant return for member Key after a five-month hiatus.
The concert, titled 'The Trilogy I - 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII: [THE INVERT],' will take place over three days from May 29 to 31 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park.
This will be SHINee’s first new solo concert in a year, featuring the four members together. The title 'INVERT,' which means “to flip” or “to transform,” reflects the concert’s promise of unique staging and fresh perspectives, offering fans an innovative exploration of SHINee’s music world. Ticket sales will be handled through Melon Ticket, with fan club pre-sales starting March 30 at 8 PM KST, and general sales opening April 1 at 8 PM KST.
The event also marks Key’s return to the stage following a hiatus of over five months. Key withdrew from activities last year after facing controversy surrounding his association with a figure nicknamed “Injection Aunt,” who was implicated in allegations of illegal medical practices. While Key acknowledged his acquaintance with her, he maintained that he believed she was a licensed doctor and expressed his regret over the misunderstanding. Consequently, he stepped down from ongoing programs and paused his public activities.
Fans now eagerly await Key’s comeback alongside SHINee, anticipating a concert that promises both innovative performances and the group’s signature musical charisma.
