PLAVE has broken their own record with the release of their new single album.
The group’s new single album 'PLBBUU' has officially surpassed 1.09 million copies in first-week sales, breaking their own record once again.
According to Hanteo Chart, the album, released on November 10, reached over 1.09 million copies in its first seven days, marking PLAVE’s highest first-week performance to date.
PLAVE originally debuted with just 27,000 first-week sales, but in under two years, the group became the first-ever boy group and first virtual idol group to hit 1 million first-week sales with their third mini album Caligo Pt.1. Their newest single continues their upward momentum, proving their explosive growth and unwavering popularity.
Despite being available in only two versions (PLBBUU Ver. and POCACALBUM Ver.), the album landed the second-highest first-week sales for a boy group single in history, right behind BTS’s “Butter.” Their collaboration with Sanrio Characters also boosted the album’s collectible value, contributing to its massive success.
Their digital performance is equally strong. Title track “BBUU!” ranked No. 1 on iTunes in seven countries, including Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Peru.
With strong digital scores, record-breaking album sales, and a sold-out concert at Gocheok Dome, PLAVE continues to rewrite history, raising even more anticipation for their next chapter.
