Actor Lee Jun Ho is set to take the lead on tvN in a new drama, which will be the follow-up to YoonA's 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.'
tvN’s new weekend drama 'Typhoon Family' released its poster and teaser video on September 10, showcasing Lee Jun Ho’s intense spirit and determination as he faces the IMF financial crisis in 1997.
'Typhoon Family' depicts the struggles and growth of rookie businessman Kang Tae Poong (Lee Jun Ho), who unexpectedly becomes the CEO of a trading company with no employees, no money, and nothing to sell during the 1997 IMF crisis. The drama also stars Kim Min Ha and Kim Min Seok, and it promises to offer a heartfelt story of ordinary people who persevered through a national crisis, providing warmth and encouragement to anyone facing challenges today.
The newly released poster captures Kang Tae Poong’s fiery passion as he moves forward with determination despite being in the eye of a storm of historical hardships. In the middle of the chaotic 'Typhoon Family' office, scattered newspapers reveal the harsh realities of the time. Yet, on Kang Tae Poong’s face is an unshakable resolve. It’s the era that’s collapsed, not me,” symbolically represents the “Typhoon Spirit” of confronting obstacles with courage rather than despair.
The teaser video condenses Kang Tae Poong’s intense energy. Amid TV news reports, a fallen company sign, and a seemingly hopeless office, his determined steps resonate like a storm.
