The group TWS has been recognized as one of the artists leading the future of the global music industry.
On March 25th (local time), American music magazine Rolling Stone unveiled this year’s ‘Future 25’ list on its website. The annual list highlights 25 rising figures—including artists, teams, and business leaders—expected to drive change in the music industry through innovative ideas.
Regarding TWS, Rolling Stone described them as “one of the most exciting and energetic young groups in the current K-pop scene,” adding that they have received praise for their music, stage presence, and model-like visuals.
The publication further noted that “TWS has built a feel-good pop sound characterized by retro vibes, rich harmonies, and witty lyrics.” Their 4th mini album title track ‘OVERDRIVE’ was described as “a word-of-mouth hit,” while the pre-release track ‘Head Shoulders Knees Toes’ was praised as “an explosive, ear-catching track.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone, TWS shared, “‘Boyhood Pop’ is continuously expanding. It can contain excitement, peace and comfort, as well as powerful energy. No matter what kind of music we make, we want to deliver positive energy to listeners.”
Meanwhile, this year’s ‘Future 25’ list also includes artists such as Lola Young, who won Best Pop Solo Performance at the 68th Grammy Awards, and Latin band Fuerza Regida, who won a total of four awards at the 2023 and 2024 Billboard Music Awards. TWS stands alongside these global names, further proving their international presence.
TWS will also hold ‘2026 TWS 2ND FAN MEETING 42: CLUB IN SEOUL’ for three days starting March 27th at Ticketlink Live Arena (formerly the Handball Gymnasium) in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
