KATSEYE is making history on Billboard, the world’s leading music chart, with a rare double resurgence through their songs "Gnarly" and "Gabriela."
According to the latest chart announced on September 24 KST, "Gabriela" climbed to No. 45 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a new career high, while "Gnarly" re-entered the chart at No. 97.
The Latin pop-inspired "Gabriela" has been on a steep rise for six weeks, jumping 12 spots from last week’s No. 57. The track first entered the Hot 100 at No. 94 in early July and stayed for three weeks before reappearing in late August, continuing its sharp upward trend.
Meanwhile, "Gnarly," released in April, has shown remarkable staying power, repeatedly falling off and returning to the Hot 100 even five months after release. The track sparked a global “Gnarly craze,” establishing KATSEYE as a mega-hit act with international impact just one year after debut.
Formed through HYBE and Geffen’s joint survival audition project 'The Debut: Dream Academy,' KATSEYE is the first global girl group born from HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk’s vision to internationalize the K-pop system.
This November, KATSEYE will kick off their first U.S. tour, covering 13 major cities across North America.
