Hwasa is set to continue the “Good Goodbye” syndrome with a brand-new release.
Her agency P NATION announced on April 1, “Hwasa will release her new digital single ‘So Cute’ on various music platforms at 6 PM on April 9.”
This marks her first new release in about six months. Hwasa previously dropped the single “Good Goodbye” in October last year, which went on to become a mega hit.
A teaser for the upcoming track has also been unveiled. The roughly 11-second video shows Hwasa appearing deep in thought while children play around her.
Part of the new song was also previewed. Hwasa’s signature vocals can be heard singing the “So Cute” hook, blending with an upbeat rhythm and heightening anticipation.
Hwasa has proven her overwhelming digital power as an artist. With “Good Goodbye,” she topped major domestic music charts and achieved 750 Perfect All-Kills.
An industry insider stated, “With this new track, Hwasa will further solidify her status as a solo queen. Her unique emotional tone hints at the birth of another hit song.”
Meanwhile, Hwasa is scheduled to perform at the 'Rock in Rio' music festival in Brazil this September.
