
Actor Kwon Yul, who tied the knot earlier this year, has been revealed to have married none other than the younger sister of actress Hwang Seung Eon.
According to industry insiders on September 8, Kwon Yul’s wife is Hwang Ji Mi, the younger sister of Hwang Seung Eon.
The two sisters previously appeared together nearly nine years ago on the tcast beauty show 'Follow Me 7,' where they participated in a photoshoot. At the time, staff on set praised the siblings, calling them “superior sisters,” with some even noting Ji Mi’s resemblance to Chinese actress Liu Yifei.
Kwon Yul held his wedding on May 24 at a church in Seoul. The ceremony was prepared in secrecy and attended only by close family and acquaintances, with no public disclosure at the time.
Debuting in the 2007 drama 'Mackerel Run,' Kwon Yul has built a solid career through appearances in popular series such as 'My Fair Lady,' 'Lie to Me,' 'Brain,' 'Seoyoung, My Daughter,' 'Let’s Eat 2,' and 'Voice 2.' Recently, he signed an exclusive contract with TEAMHOPE, the agency representing actors Byun Yo Han, Lee Hanee, and Um Tae Goo.
