Crayon Pop's ChoA has just made a surprising announcement.
On September 5, ChoA revealed that she is currently pregnant with identical twins. She shared the news through her social media, stating: "Finally, the precious life we have been desperately waiting for has come to us. As of today, I am 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant, carrying identical twins."
The news occurs only two years after ChoA's diagnosis with uterine cancer. Throughout her health journey, ChoA kept fans updated, routinely making posts to share her progress. She was open about her dream of having children in the future, even despite being told by multiple doctors that she may not be able to do so due to complications from her cancer.
Eventually, ChoA found a hospital that was able to perform surgery to treat her cancer while still preserving her fertility. She shared, "Thanks to the hospital and doctor who helped save my fertility, I was able to successfully complete my cancer surgery and recover."
After her recovery, ChoA began IVF treatment. To her shock, the treatment was immediately effective: "Miraculously, we were blessed with a baby on the first try! I wanted to share this wonderful news as soon as possible,
but I was so cautious in the early stages that I held back." ChoA explained that due to her severe morning sickness, it was becoming too difficult to hide the pregnancy any longer.
She also revealed how surprising it was that her treatment had resulted in identical twins so quickly: "I chose to only transfer one embryo, but it spontaneously split and resulted in identical twins. They say there's a 1% chance of that happening... haha. At first I was worried, but now all I can think about is trying my best to nurture them and give birth to healthy babies!"
ChoA said that she would be documenting her journey on her YouTube channel ChoA Life, in the hopes of helping anyone who was also struggling with infertility. She shared a hopeful message to wrap up her announcement: "Good luck to all infertile couples!!💪And to all the family, friends, and online aunties and uncles who sent me heartfelt messages of comfort and support, and shared so many kind words with me, thank you so much!!!
