A set of youthful snapshots of Park Seo Joon and Won Ji An has been revealed.
JTBC’s new drama ‘Waiting for KyungDo’, scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2025, tells the story of Kyung Do (played by Park Seo Jun) and Seo Ji Woo (played by Won Ji An).
The two, who once dated in their twenties and broke up twice, reunite years later as a reporter who covered an affair scandal and the wife of the scandal’s subject. What unfolds is a delightful and heartfelt romance drama about love, mistakes, and second chances.
In the drama, KyungDo, a reporter in the entertainment department of Dongwoon Ilbo, and Seo Ji Woo, a troublemaking celebrity, first meet when they are twenty. After experiencing two breakups, they cross paths once more through an unexpected circumstance. Though they are now adults, whenever they are together, they find themselves drawn back into the same youthful emotions they felt at twenty. This raises curiosity about what their very first love story was like. Their newly released youth-themed snapshots capture those memories vividly.
The photos released on September 9 show Kyung Do and Ji Woo as bright first-year college students, full of the excitement of a new romance. Dressed in matching similar outfits and wearing innocent smiles, the two exude a sweet tension that feels both close and distant, bringing warmth to viewers.
Behind them, the vast blue sea and sky perfectly frame the moment, evoking the fleeting essence of youth. Like a wave that cannot be held back, the emotions of these twenty-year-olds meet under the same sky, filling an unforgettable page in each other’s lives.
Anticipation is high for the chemistry between Park Seo Joon and Won Ji An, who will bring life to the ups and downs of this love story. The synergy is further amplified by director Lim Hyun Wook, known for the stunning cinematography of ‘King the Land’ and ‘Reflection of You,’ and writer Yoo Young Ah, who displayed a balance of realism and humor in works like ‘Thirty Nine’ and ‘Divorce Attorney Shin.’ Together, they aim to capture the hearts of viewers in the second half of 2025.
