The internal conflict within ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ champion crew OSAKA Ojo Gang has come to light, as six members of the team released a joint statement acknowledging tensions with leader ibuki over financial transparency and management issues.

On September 9, the six members issued their statement through the crew’s official account, claiming they were kept uninformed about tour contracts and schedules by the group’s manager. They said, "We were unable to receive any explanations from the manager regarding the tour agreements or schedules. Later, we learned through the production company of ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ 3 concerts that negotiations had not been properly conducted."

According to the statement, the team’s manager, who had been working with ibuki for a long time as her personal manager, was appointed to oversee OSAKA Ojo Gang after the crew was formed from individual dancers. The members alleged that "numerous issues arose, including financial matters being handled in a non-transparent manner."

The six members stated that after lengthy online discussions with ibuki and the manager, ibuki apologized and promised to dismiss the manager. Based on that assurance, they agreed to participate in the concert, but claimed the promise was not kept.

This disclosure followed ibuki’s earlier announcement on September 8, in which she explained her absence from the ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ Seoul concert. She said, "I was asked to sign contracts without having the right to speak during the concert. I also took actions that may have caused conflict with the members, so I was discussing future concert participation through a Korean lawyer."

Concert production company Route59 also weighed in on September 9, stating that they had been working for months to secure OSAKA Ojo Gang’s appearance. "However, communication with the crew’s manager was not smooth during contract negotiations, and repeated issues with schedules and agreements caused difficulties," the company explained, acknowledging the ongoing dispute with leader ibuki.

The revelations mark a major turning point for OSAKA Ojo Gang, whose victory on Mnet’s ‘World of Street Woman Fighter’ had propelled them to international recognition. With internal conflicts now surfacing publicly, the crew’s future concert activities remain uncertain.

Official Statement from the Six Members of OSAKA Ojo Gang

"To Everyone, we, Kyoka, Minami, Uwa, Junna, Hana, and Ruu, would like to share our position as six members of OSAKA Ojo Gang.

First, we sincerely apologize for the confusion and concern caused by the recent issues. We had been preparing for a tour with the determination to keep our promise to fans that we would stand on stage. However, we never received any explanation from our manager regarding the final tour contract or schedule.

It was only after being contacted by Route59 that we learned negotiations between the manager and the tour side had not been properly conducted. From the very beginning, we had doubts about how things were being managed, but until now, we had no choice but to stay silent. With this statement, we wanted to directly deliver the facts to you.

◼️ Regarding the formation of OSAKA Ojo Gang

OSAKA Ojo Gang was formed as a 7-member team centered around leader Ibuki for WSWF.

Although each of us had been individually active, during the process of appointing a team manager, Ibuki’s personal manager, who had been working with her for a long time, naturally became OSAKA Ojo Gang’s manager. In addition, some members were told they needed to sign contracts with managers and agents in order to appear on the program, while others were never informed about this at all.

◼️ Broadcast appearance and activities thereafter

During the show, we all did our very best with the shared goal of winning. However, behind the scenes, many issues arose, such as unpaid appearance fees, unclear financial handling, and the absence of proper explanations. Even after a long time passed, no payments were made, no clear amounts were presented, and our repeated questions went unanswered.

After the broadcast ended, numerous offers were made to OSAKA Ojo Gang and to each member individually. Yet most matters were handled solely by the manager, and we were often excluded from prior discussions or sharing of information. As a result, individual opportunities and OSAKA Ojo Gang–related activities proceeded without our knowledge, and our roles as members were neglected. This left us unable to answer fans’ questions such as, “Why aren’t you active as OSAKA Ojo Gang anymore?”

◼️ Meetings and what followed

After confirming these facts, the six of us spoke directly with Ibuki and her manager. They apologized and promised to restore trust, assuring us that all members would perform together at the OSAKA Ojo Gang concert. But that promise was not kept. For this tour, out of gratitude to the fans who supported us, we six decided to perform together at the Seoul concert, determined to carry things through until the very end. We also felt that letting speculation and incorrect information spread would not be right.

Therefore, we are now delivering the truth in our own words. Moving forward, OSAKA Ojo Gang’s activities will be reconsidered and discussed again, and we will sincerely update you. Once again, we deeply apologize to all the fans who were troubled by this matter.
