Park Bo Gum spotted at exclusive event hosted by SK chairman’s partner
Actor Park Bo Gum was recently seen attending a high-profile art event connected to one of Korea’s most prominent chaebol families.
On September 8th KST, Kim Hee Young, the partner of SK Group chairman Chey Tae Won, posted a photo with Park Bo Gum on her personal account, drawing considerable attention.
Alongside the photo, Kim wrote, “After successfully completing two major events, the genuine joy on the faces of friends and guests who came from afar will forever remain etched in my heart.”
The photos featured various notable figures from Korea’s business elite, but the one that drew the most buzz was her picture with the strikingly handsome actor Park Bo Gum.
The event Park Bo Gum attended was the solo exhibition of world-renowned artist Kimsooja. Held at Seonhyewon in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, this marks Kimsooja’s first exhibition in Seoul in a decade, and the first time her works are being installed in a traditional Korean hanok setting.
Seonhyewon is a historic hanok estate once used as the residence of SK Group’s founder. After serving as a corporate training center, it has recently been reopened as a research and convention space.
Park Bo Gum reportedly has a personal connection with Kimsooja, which is said to be the reason for his invitation to the exclusive event.
While at the exhibition, Park Bo Gum was seen posing for photos with members of the business elite, once again demonstrating his poise as an Honorary Ambassador for Korean Tourism.
