Park Hyung Sik, who made headlines with rumors of receiving “ ₩500 million (≈ $360,000) per episode,” continues to inject intensity into the drama ‘Twelve,’ even as its ratings decline.
The series, which premiered at 8.1%, has since dropped steadily through 5.9%, 4.2%, 3.1%, and most recently 2.6%.
Episodes 5 and 6 of ‘Twelve,’ aired on September 6 and 7, depicted the return of erased memories to Oh Gui (played by Park Hyung Sik).
Park Hyung Sik skillfully balances restraint and explosive energy in portraying Oh Gui. From his usual cynical charisma to the searing anger unleashed as his memories return, he delivers a convincing and layered performance.
Attention now turns to how far Oh Gui’s villainy will go, what fate awaits in his clash with the twelve guardian angels, and how his sorrowful relationship with Mir will shape the drama’s next chapters.
