Shuhua of I-DLE recently opened up about her interest in appearing on a romance reality show, adding a touch of humor with her self-proclaimed "never dated" status.
On July 3, the first episode of the YouTube web variety series 'What Do We Do Now' (also known as 어떡행) was released on the TTT channel. The show featured Shuhua, known for her spontaneous and easygoing P-type personality, teaming up with Yoo Yeon of tripleS, who has a more structured J-type personality, for a travel-themed episode.
After exchanging greetings, the two began planning their trip and browsing accommodations in Jeju Island. At one point, Yoo Yeon suggested a cozy guesthouse that had previously appeared on the popular dating show 'EXchange' (환승연애).
When Shuhua asked, “Do you want to go on that show?”, Yoo Yeon shot back, “Could you go on it?” Shuhua laughed and replied, “I can’t. I’ve never dated in my life.” Her candid admission drew laughter from the production staff.
Curious, Shuhua then asked what kind of dating show would suit her. Yoo Yeon suggested 'Heart Signal', known for its subtle romantic tension and emotional storytelling. But Shuhua quickly responded, “No way. I can’t handle that kind of romantic buildup. I’m not good at flirting.”
However, when 'Single’s Inferno' (솔로지옥) came up, Shuhua expressed interest. “I’d be down for that,” she said, “as long as they film the next season indoors—somewhere I won’t get sunburned.”
She then turned to Yoo Yeon and encouraged her to join, saying, “You should be on it too.” But Yoo Yeon firmly responded, “No thanks. I'm definitely more of a 'Heart Signal' person.”
Their playful exchange and differing dating show preferences brought plenty of laughs, offering fans a glimpse into their fun personalities and close friendship.
