The year 2024 has been a fantastic one for K-Pop, with a wave of fresh talent stepping into the spotlight. As the Korean music industry continues to expand globally, these rookie groups are making their presence known with their stunning performances. It has been an exciting time for K-pop fans.
Every year, the K-Pop industry welcomes a new generation of idols who bring their own flavor to the table, and 2024 was no exception. Let’s take a look at some of the K-Pop groups that made their grand debut in 2024 and are well on their way to rule fans’ hearts.
Start to the year with DXMON, as the group made its debut on January 17, 2024, with their debut mini album ‘Hyperspace’. The band consists of five members – Minjae, Seita, Hee, TK and Rex. Sixth member Jo exited the group in September.
The boy group debuted on January 22, 2024, with their extended play (EP) 'Sparkling Blue'. The group features six members – Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, with Shinyu as the leader.
The girl group made their debut on March 25, 2024, with their extended play (EP) 'Super Real Me'. The group features five talented members – Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha, with Yunah leading the team as their leader.
It is a 5-member girl group consisting of members – Woni, Liv, Minami, May, and Zena. They released a predebut single, ‘YoYo’ before making their official debut on March 26, 2024, with the single album, ‘Re:Scene
We have got another girl group on the list. Candy Shop made their debut on March 27, 2024, with the extended play ‘Hashtag#’. The group is composed of five members – Soram, Yuina, Sui, Sarang, and Julia with Soram as their leader.
Their debut was on April 1, 2024, with the extended play 'BabyMons7er'. The group consists of seven members – Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita. They do not have a leader.
It is the first hard of hearing K-pop group to have debuted. Their debut was on April 20, 2024, with their digital single ‘Glow’. We have got three members in the group – Chanyeon, Hyunjin, and Jiseok.
They made their debut on June 28, 2024, with their extended play ‘SIS (Soft is Strong)’. There are six members in the band – Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae. Sophia is the leader of the group.
