
Actress Kim Sung Ryung is grieving the sudden loss of her mother, drawing condolences from fans and colleagues alike.
According to a report by Digital Daily on March 6, Kim Sung Ryung’s mother, Lee Hye Won, passed away on March 5 after a long illness at the age of 86. In the wake of this sudden news, Kim Sung Ryung is reportedly remaining at the funeral hall to mourn and receive visitors paying their respects. The funeral is being held at Gangnam St. Mary’s Hospital, Room 31, in Seoul, with the cremation scheduled for 10:20 a.m. on March 7.
Kim Sung Ryung first rose to public attention in 1988 when she won the Jin title at the 32nd Miss Korea pageant. She officially began her acting career in 1991 with the film 'Who Saw the Dragon’s Toenails?' and has since become a prominent figure in Korean entertainment.
Over the years, she has appeared in numerous acclaimed dramas, including 'The King and Queen,' 'Empress Myeongseong,' 'The Chaser,' 'The Heirs,' 'King of Ambition,' 'I Can Hear Your Voice,' and 'Mr. Sunshine,' showcasing a versatile range from charismatic to elegant roles.
