Wonpil of the band DAY6 is set to make a solo comeback after four years.
On March 9 KST, JYP Entertainment revealed a sound film poster through DAY6’s official social media channels announcing Wonpil’s upcoming solo album. According to the announcement, he will release his first mini album 'Unfiltered' on March 30 at 6 PM.
The teaser content captured attention with Wonpil’s dreamy atmosphere. In the clip, he wipes moisture from a glass window, while the flowing water droplets visually convey the emotional tone of the scene. His expressive voice is heard singing the line, “I’m just breathing empty breaths, I’m not alright, oh god, save me,” raising curiosity about the new song.
Wonpil debuted with DAY6 in September 2015 and has steadily participated in songwriting while demonstrating strong musical abilities as both a vocalist and instrumentalist. Through his delicate style of expression, he has established himself as an emotional singer songwriter.
Fans are especially interested in the music and message he will present through this new release, which arrives about four years after his first solo album 'Pilmography', released in February 2022.
Wonpil’s first mini album 'Unfiltered' will be officially released on March 30 at 6 PM.
